Reborn Roofing LLC's assessment-first approach didn't develop as a marketing strategy it developed because we saw too many Memphis homeowners being sold work they didn't need by roofing contractors whose only profitable option was replacement. The industry makes its money on tear-offs, and that financial incentive creates a culture where the default recommendation is always to replace. We built a different business model. By becoming the only Roof Maxx Certified 5-Star Dealer in the Memphis metro, we created a profitable alternative that gives us the freedom to recommend what each asphalt shingle roofing system actually needs. Some roofs across Collierville, Germantown, and East Memphis need replacement and we say so as a GAF Certified Contractor. Some need targeted shingle repair and a tune-up and we say so. Some are perfect candidates for a Roof Maxx treatment at 25–30% of replacement cost and we say so. The written assessment with on-roof photographs ensures that our roof repair recommendation is transparent, documented, and based on evidence the Memphis homeowner can see for themselves.
